• The seven card stud game and the Razz Poker game have quite a lot in common. The only difference is that in the latter the lowest hand wins the pot and in case of the former game the highest hand wins.
• A normal game of Razz should involve 8 players at the most and at least 2 players.
• The total number of cards dealt to a player is seven, out of which 4 will be dealt with their faces up and the rest are dealt with the faces down.
• The Aces are considered to be low. The flushes and straights are not at all significant in a game of Razz.
• The total number of rounds played is five. The bets and the raises are required to maintain an equal value to the low limit or the high limit bet size, depending on the round.
• Generally equality should be maintained between the bets and raises the low limit bet size in case of the first two rounds of betting.
• For the last three rounds the bets and the raises should equal the high limit bet size.
• The third street features two face down cards dealt to all the players and immediately after that a face up card is dealt.
• The player with the highest card is required to bring in first and now the bet would be half time the low limit bet. But it becomes different in case the player chooses to raise the bet to the full.
• A betting, in its single round, allows a total of three bets.
• The game moves in a clockwise direction after the third street. For the 4th, 5th and 6th round a face up card is dealt to the player, whereas the 7th round features a face down card for the player.

To have a superb chance at winning the pot, the player should not fold till the end of the last betting round. He thus gets the chance to show the hand in the showdown.
